I’m going to Wichita!

Baseball is great, but minor league baseball is even better.  Not the quality of play, however, but the quality of manager tirades.  There are have been some awesome ones the last few years, and last night (Wednesday the 9th that is), we get the first one of the year.  As the weather gets hotter we should be getting more and more of these throughout the summer.  This epic tirade is brought to you by the Manager of the Wichita Wingnuts, Kash Beauchamp.

I’ve never seen anyone take off their show before, and then put his armpit into the ump’s face.  Extra points for originality there, but if I was the ump, I probably would have knocked that dude out.  In case you haven’t seen these before (and even if you have they are worth watching again) I am posting a couple of the classics from the last couple years.  This first one is nuts, and I can’t believe the Manager, Philip Wellman of the Mississippi Braves, pretended to throw a grenade at the umpire.

I saved the best for last, however, courtesy of Asheville Tourists Manager, Joe Mikulik.  Whoever was in charge of the music at this stadium deserves an award.  My favorite part is when Joe dives back into second base.  I can’t even explain it why, but I laugh my ass off everytime.
